The purpose of this class is to discuss the theories and practices of management. In this class, the four major processes of management will be discussed: planning, organizing, leading and control. The fundamental theories and history of this field will be introduced first, and, for the remaining of this course, the classes will be dedicated to demonstrating how managers proceed and execute these four major processes. There will be two hours of lecture and one hour of case presentation in each week. Questionnaires and exercises will also be used to help students understanding the concepts of management.
